My hair used to be curly. Not super kinky curly, but a nice soft spiral curl that most ladies want. As
I've gotten older, it's lost the curl and taken on more of a wave. It still poofs out and gets super frizzy. So often I use a straightener to assist in keeping down fly aways take care of any remaining kink, or add the right curl at the right spot. I was so excited to try out this product. It did not let me down.
This was shipped to me in a simple box, cord wrapped up neatly with a velcro strip. The flat iron does not have a temperature adjuster, but I don't think that matters. This heats up to the right temp to take the kink out of some seriously curly hair (check out the video below). The ceramic plates are red and the width of the iron is about 1" wide. Its slightly rounded on the sides to allow you to use the flat iron as a curling appliance as well.

This iron did everything it claims to. Heats up in 30 seconds and literally irons away the kink. My friend Lyndsey in the video has some crazy beautiful kinky curly hair and she was kind enough to help me show the power of this flat iron.
I can not say enough good things about it. It rocks - I highly recommend. The price is right on par with what you'd pay for any other good solid reliable flat iron.
