As I get older facial care is a top priority to me.  I absolutely love makeup and new products for my face to see if it can help me stave off time just a little longer. I'm also a lover and firm believer in the power of vitamin c for your skin.

I have my husband who works out in the sun and heat all day (and is in his mid 40's, he'd say late...but whatever) use it and it saves his face from windburn, further sun damage, and even reverses some of the sun damage/age spots on his face.  So yeah....I jumped all over this product.

Divas Never Age's Vitamin C Serum is a win.

Things it's done for my face:

Takes away the red from my face.
Helps my moisturizer do a better job
Diminished the fine lines and wrinkles on my face.
Overall made my skin feel more supple and healthy.

The product has no scent to me.  It helps with moisture, though you WILL need a moisturizer on top of it.  Its tacky after application (once you smooth it out along your face) but dries quickly.  I always wait till it dries then apply my moisturizer.

My favorite part about this products packaging is the eye dropper that is the lid. Its classy looking and effective.  One pump is enough for my whole face and neck (would use another on my decolletage).

Review - IDAODAN Professional Digital Kitchen Scale

Who doesn't need to be more conscientious about what they are stuffing their face with? I know I do.
One of the easiest ways to watch your weight is by weighing your food.  So I was super excited when given the opportunity to test out this food scale.

The weighing tray is a lovely silver chrome color. The bottom is plastic, but it is a sturdy scale.  There is an option to change the way something is weighed and an on and off button.  Its super simple and I'd say effective.  The package comes with two batteries to get you going and once you stick them in, it's ready to be used.

I weight a bottle that has fluid ounces in it and it did so brilliantly.  While not having a lot of bells and whistles I think the basic purpose of this item makes it hard not to give it 5 stars.  From what I can tell the accuracy is right on par.

Review - 800LM CREE XML T6 LED Flashlight

It's 2:00 in the morning, my power goes out, dog's are barking they want to go out and I can't see a thing. I'm sleepily looking around for a flashlight, but there isn't one.  RATS!!!!! Not literally....but...metaphorically.

Nothing worse than not being able to see where you are going or what you are doing when you actually need to.  So I am super excited to now have in my possession this awesome flashlight!

First thing first, its water proof. So, if you are a klutz like me or have to use in the rain, its safe and will work!

Second, its solid, the pieces are metal and you don't feel like its about to fall apart in your hands.

Third, there are multiple light options, from a straight beam, to a strobe, to a slow flash and a dim light.  I can't say enough good things.

The batteries are easy to put in and its super simple to turn on.  This easily gets 5 stars from me!

Rayya Garden Hose Nozzle

I should water my plants more, but I'm lazy and I've never had a super helpful hose nozzle to make it easier for me.  I'm very pleased with this item we got from Raaya.

It has several settings from shower (my personal favorite) to center spray.  It is great for all kinds of watering needs.  It did leak some, but I'm pretty sure that was my hoses' fault and not the nozzle.

The plastic is sturdy and the setting change is an easy twist.  I think you will love this if you need a great well built garden hose.

Review - CushionCare Keyboard Wrist Rest Pad

At work all day long, constantly keying and moving my mouse I often get achy hands and even bruises from the war my arms or hands lay on my desk.  When I got the opportunity to test out a memory foam arm rest and mouse hand rest I was excited.

There isn't a lot to talk about here in my opinion.  It's a simple design for the wrist pad and a typical mouse-pad design.  I was hoping for far more 'memory and cushion' in the pads, but alas I'm disappointed. I also did not like the feel of the cover fabric on either of the items.  The mouse pad does not move however, nor does the wrist pad.  I imagine these are easy to clean and quite.  If you are looking for something simple to help keep your wrists in the right place this may be it.

Review - NYB Anti Cellulite Massage Oil

When I get out of the shower, the last thing I want is my skin to dry up and become tight. So I was interested in getting a after shower oil to help seal in my moisture, but more excited with the prospect it could help my Cellulite! I don't have a lot of dimples (thank goodness for some good genes) but I do have a little bit from weight loss and when you wear skimpy short costumes for Cosplay, the last thing I need is cottage cheese butt.

This oil comes with a pump that you put in on your first use. It smells good, but its not strong or perfume, just a good clean natural scent. You are instructed to put this on while still slightly damp from the shower. I used it both ways, dry and moist and didn't really notice a difference. Get your significant other to massage you with it, totally worth it!

Before Oil application:

 I haven't noticed much of a change in the week I've been using it in regards to my cellulite, but I'm not ashy and my skin looks moisturized. Be careful with the bottle, it seems to leak a little, but as long as its up right will be ok. The oil is not thick or supper runny, its the perfect consistency to give you a nice easy massage friction.

Scrub the face clean w/Swissvita Facial Cleanser with AC-11

I'm always pretty hesitant to believe anything I read about facial products, they are usually over hyped. So I was pleased when the Swissvita Facial Cleanser did all it said it would:

My favorite part of this product was the way it removed makeup and excess dirt.  It really got my face squeaky clean.  It did not hydrate, but that is what a good moisturizer is for.  The product comes out a cream, which you then wet and it turns into a foam mouse type product.  You massage that all into your face and wipe it off and viola! Better skin!

X-Shade, Car Shade - Keeping it cool

To say the heat has been awful here is an understatement. Getting into a hot steamy car after working all day is not a good way for me to end the day. So I'd been debating about getting a car shade to at least help turn down the heat some. So yay! When X-Shade offered to let me receive one of their awesome car shades for free in exchange for my honest review.

Let's start with the price. $12.97 is an excellent price for this shade and free shipping if you have Prime, makes it quite the deal!  The construction is solid and well sewn.  There is a reflective shading on one side that helps keep the sun at bay.  The shade itself is two giant hoops which are held together by a sewn piece of fabric.  It comes in a nice pouch, but I'm not sure I can get it back in!  I think this is an excellent shade for the price and recommend if you are in the market for one you get it!

The key to any successful costume is under garments. The corset has been the go to under garment for centuries. It's no wonder, depending on the corset that your silhouette can take a whole new shape. I received the Everbellus underbust corset for free in exchange for my honest review.

Let me start by saying this corset is a size large. Please make sure you read the size chart that Everbellus provides, as Amazon's is not accurate. This is not a waist training corset or a flat steel boned corset. It is however a spiral steel corset with a 1/2" busk that does give you light structure and a bit of cinching. This black corset is made of a 100% Polyester brocade fabric, with a generic satin ribbon for lacing. As a light body shaper, a base for a structured costume, or just as fashion this corset is nice quality and well constructed. I'd definitely recommend buying one for your collection.

Lally Pet's Stainless Steel Dog Bowls

Spoiled rotten pets.  That is what I have.  I was so excited to get to try out two new stainless steel dog bowls by Lally Pet.

Right off the bat I'd like to say the size of this bowl is really great.  It's big enough that you can put plenty of food in it and have an easy time cleaning it.  Stainless steel really is my go to for dog feeders as they are so easy to keep clean.  The other thing I really love about these bowls is the non skid rubber lip that is around the entire outside of the bowl. This allows you to clean it easily too, since the whole bottom isn't rubber picking up all the pet hair and dirt it can!

They were a little large for the crate, but they work beautifully and I highly recommend them.
